Preity Zinta has done it all. She is one feisty actress who has portrayed the bold women of today and has done justice to all the characters she has played so far. Then be it the unwed mom in Kya Kehna , a woman involved in a complicated live-in relationship in Salaam Namaste , or a career oriented ambitious woman tackling her husband's infidelity in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna . After successfully pulling off the candid, bold woman image, Preity is once again ready with yet another unique role where she will play a widow!

An insider revealed, "Preity Zinta is bound to bag not only accolades but loads of awards for her performance in Heroes as this is by far her career's best performance!"

Revealing more about the film, he added, "Preity plays a widow in Heroes who happens to be the sole bread winner of the family! She single-handedly strives to bring up her kids and earn a livelihood for them. She makes the protagonists in the film ponder over the thought of being a true hero! She defines heroism in the film and though there is Salman, Sunny and many others, her character is the most important and an author backed one."

"Preity drives tractors in the film and does almost everything that is not expected out of a woman normally. In fact she is waiting for the film to release which is almost ready but just needs a final go-ahead from the producer-director. It is expected to release in August though", added the unit hand.

We got in touch with Preity to know more about her role but not willing to divulge much details she told us, "Heroes is a film which is very close to my heart...Dino, Sunny, Salman, Vatsal, Amrita... all of us have put in hard work and I am sure people will like it. I have done a role which I have never attempted before but I would want you to see the film first, I won't reveal any more details."

Going by Preity's fantastic selection of roles, we are sure Heroes will add another feather to her multifaceted hat. This is also her first release after Jhoom Barabar Jhoom in 2007, which bombed at the box office.
